Dont believe it...Just looked out the window and caught a neighbour reversing up the road way too fast and then tried swinging it into the gap in front of mine..Needless to say hes hit my nosecone and chipped the front corner..Ripped my cover and then drove off..I went walking down to where he lives and confronted him..I was not happy..will have a look in the morning..It dont look too bad but is now exposed to the weather...Dozy idiot..

Heres the damage,The damage on his car is a lot worst..Its only a little bit but its the principal..He tried driving off then came out with some of the funniest excuses.."ive just been to see a 3D film and my eyes were all messed up"..Then he said "Its the wifes car and ive got a stiff neck"..So i said "Theres no excuse for bad driving"..Then i put the scares on when i told him the paint is £2500 a litre and thats if you can find it...Hes lucky he's an old git or he might of got a slap..I will have to fill it now as its exposed to the elements..P40 or Fibral, Which is a filler which consists of fibreglass and filler?...Cheers..Ziga

Get a quote from an expensive dealer to fix it up before you do anything - no touch up or anything - and present him with it. Don't worry about water ingress - it won't make any difference at the moment.

Easy fix & spray job. Wait a couple of weeks to allow any cracks to reveal themselves. Make sure the tt pays up too.

... then after the quote has sunk in a bit, go round there a week or two later and say "I'll take half, in cash" and fix it yourself, keeping the balance to pay for bits for your car.

They would probably have for a year to allow the filler to dry..And it will still fall out..eek

No it wouldn't fall out mr z.

My guys have a tried and tested way, as long as the finish is shiney then the prep work is irrelevant. So the filler can be nailed into position and rubbed down with a house brick 'if' required.
Another 'professional' way is to sellotape over the area using plasticine as a surface builder.

All good ideas as used at the "BANGIT AND TAPPIT" Body shop

Make him PAY Mark !

Never forget the time I came out of a call to find my daily driver car with a sodding great dent in the rear quarter. mad

I made a few enquiries, and just as i thought some dozy old git had reversed out of his drive into it, and then buggered off.

I took a few pics (always have a camera with me for my work), and then confronted him later.

Got him to admit it and give me his insurance details.

£1500 quid that cost HIS insurance company. irked

I got it done at a main dealer, and had a free hire car too.
