wedge hood removal

hi, my wedge is having a respray next week and i want to remove the hood before it goes into the paint shop, is there any tips on removal, and how does it fasten round the back to the body, regards malc

Tell the garage to undue 2 to 3 10mm nuts located inside the boot holding down the rear hoop plus the 2 self tapers inside the car - once undone prise off the rear hoop from the rear of the body and secure - they should be able to mask off that area before painting. I've done the exact same thing although I'm also re-spraying my car too at the weekend.
