Hi Guys

About to undertake the replacement of both front lower ball joints on the 350i S2. Firstly can I confirm that they are the 3 hole Ford Cortina MkV part? Second mine still have the original rivot looking fittings so assume I need to warm up the grinder to remove? Thirdly in order to do them in situ will I need to compress the springs

Thanks in advance

Chris

Yes to all...however it's best to remove the lower arm completely to access the rivets. It's a pain but it's the best way IMO - it's also good pratice to change the other side whilst you're at it.
