Not more traffic lights on roundabouts

Why are they putting traffic lights on the Queensgate roundabout? (the one the Bute tunnels come out onto).

I can see some lovely accidents coming up grrr.

I think it is to allow people coming out of the Bay side more safely as there is always a queue there and people do seem to take a risks most nights at rush hour. Accidents from that junction may in fact be stopped but I can see possble issues for people coming from town and this will also make it slower for me coming from Ocean Way direction.

Yeah I've noticed this too. I commnute from the bay into the tunnels and I don't see the need for it - but I guess I'm going the wrong say to really see what happends. It can be a bit of a pain waiting to go around the smaller roundabout *from* the bay towards the tunnels, but usually a bit of patience is enough....

I take it back.... it took aaaaaaages to get out of the junction this morning!
