anyone know of any waste land where i can take my son to learn the gears ect and steer in south wales …somewhere with no jobs worths sniffing around???

Industrial estates are the usual places to go. That's where I started to drive.

Be very careful. Unless the estate has a barrier, and it can't be accessed by the public, the police can view it as a public highway.
