Hi, would anyone know where I could the above done? Suffering with vibration on the front wheels, have been to two tyre places with the same results. I think it might be tyres out of round but would like it confirmed. Thanks

Are they new tyres or older ones that have just started to vibrate?

Call Hunter in the uk and ask them who near you has a road force elite balancer. When you have you appointment to get them checked, drive at least 15 minutes to get there and don’t park for more than a couple of minutes before you get the wheels checked.

They're around a year old and done 1500 miles.

I've just checked their website, it looks like that's for business enquiries only. Here's a snippet from their website

This contact form is intended for legitimate Hunter equipment and service inquiries. All other use is prohibited and will be discarded

OK well that rules out going back to your tyre supplier.

Does the car sit for long periods of time, or is it a daily driver?

It did sit for around 4 months in the same place, trying to rule out the tyres being out of round. If I run my hand over the tyre it feels okay, would just like to know before replacing them.

You'll not be able to tell by hand.
Could try pumping them up real hard see if that makes any difference.
Being out of shape after sitting for some time in exactly the same spot is definitely possible.

So I'm still looking to have this done, any recommendations?

Have you tried swapping the front and rears around?

Are you certain it's a wheel balance issue?

Yes I've swapped front to back and the wheel vibration has gone. However there's noises coming from the rear now which weren't there beforehand. To save me shelling out on two new tyres I'd like to see if forced balancing cures it.

Certainly points towards the tyres then.

Autostop in Bridgend have a Hunter machine, not sure what type but they'll do a good job.

i believe Litchfield do this;

I've looked at tihs company, ideally I'd like to find someone a bit nearer as it's over two hours for me.

I think that's the hunter alignment machine, not the road force balancer.

I’m looking for one near me (somerset), but it looks like I’ll need to make a road trip to Litchfield.
