Huge police prescence around M4, pont abraham today, anyone

Today there were loads of coppers about, way more than usual, saw a bike in Saron, then a Volvo on pont abraham roundabout. Then on my way home there was a bike on the hard shoulder of the M4 and further down an unmarked Volvo, then two bikes and another Volvo on pont abraham. Then another cop in ammanford.

Anyone know why there were so many?

same again today (Friday 13-06-2008) . drove from cardiff to camarthen & back 2 swansea and the silver volvo was in the same place (by the services). Also passed 2 marked V70's in cunning places. then drove to cross hands & passed more V70's. on way home then passed ANPR van by the Services at the end of the m4. Passed the silver V70 on opposite carriage way then & endless amount of bikes aswell. some of which were unmarked aswell i think. At a guess I would say it was an ANPR sting.
