Fancy a blat tomorrow as it looks like it'll be sunny, any decent coutry pub type places that are recommended, looking for something within 1hr of cardiff but needs to be in an area not affected by the bloody snow, was thinking camarthen way or up towards usk or caerleon?

Just got home from there. Well recomended for the beer and food but could be busy tomorrow with rugby on the telly.

The Angel Inn at Pontneddfechan the other side of Glynneath has good food and beer. Roads north of there might be a bit dodgy/fun.

Had a lovely meal here a few weeks ago. On the way to Brecon on the A40 just outside Sennybridge.
