good pub with rooms south wales

Afternoon chaps,

A few of us plan a bit of a road trip to check out the cracking driving roads around South Wales. We intend to cover the Black Mountains and the area around Brecon (A4069 I hear is a must!).

We'll be needing somewhere to rest our hopefully happy but tired heads somewhere. Ideally we'd like to stay somewhere near Llandovery or Brecon in a pub or B&B with good pub and grub within walking distance.

Can any of you experts recommend anywhere?

This place is nice. The South Wales TVRCC use it as a pit stop & I've eaten there recently. Very nice meal, good beer & right bang in the middle of all the good roads.
