Swansea weather update please?

Hi

We are due to be at Swansea Magistrates Court in the morning (working not appearing!) Can any locals give us an update on the local road conditions? We will be needing to get a 12 tonne lorry and a large van in from Hampshire, is it worth giving it a go or would it be madness? The Met Office is a bit vague on whether any more snow will fall up that way in the next few days so any local forecasts would be good to? Any ideas what the M4 across is like?

swansea is fine, all main roads are no problem at all.

May not happen but the intial snow we had on thurs night wasn't forecast too fall until yesterday

Accu-weather, bbc, met office, they all say different things. Its a case of find a forecast you like and stick with it I think!

they have all been updated now and all showing a chance of snow now mate, so anyones guess if and how much.

Well, we decided to chance it and are on the way!

From the looks of all the forcasts, we will get in but getting out after 18hrs of heavy snow may be a different matter!

I am along the coast in Barry at the moment and it is blizzard like here at the moment. Quite windy so snow is drifting a lot too.

Well, that was a success. Arrived this morning after morons on M4 were doing 30mph, to find site has no glazing where we are working so its only slightly chilly with snow pouring in on our electrics! We get togged up and start working and site gaffer decides to shut site down and go home so we are now stuck in a hotel room til the morning when we 'might' be able to return to site! Looks like the bar then.....
