Got the confirmation from Club MSV about the track day on Thursday, I figured it was a good way to celebrate my last birthday before I hit the big 60.

The weather forecast looks ok for the morning and somewhat damp after lunch, i like the damp conditions on track days, it's a good way of discovering where the limits are relatively safely. Saves fuel and tyres too.

Thanks to Fast Eddy for setting it up for PHers, see you guys about 8am.

Anyway, while I won't be driving on track myself, I aim to pop down in the afternoon to support the trackday and hopefully get a few snaps

I have just heard you guys are able to get access to the Archie Scott Brown Centre at the top of the pit lane!
An extra bit of luck, considering how busy the paddock will be

I was there today.

I think we were as lucky as we could have been with the weather. Shame the track took so long to dry out. (And all the red flags in the morning)

Very busy day though in terms of cars, I thought it would be a bit quieter now it's towards the end of the year.
