Pub near Diss Railway Station

Hi,

I'm meeting a friend who lives in the sticks at Diss Station on a weekday evening. (I'm catching a train from Norwich). Neither of us knows Diss' pubs. Can you recomend a nearby pub where we won't get funny looks for being non-locals or deafened by yoofs please? Doesn't have to be great, just not st.

Not lived in the area for a couple of years (back in Norwich now too) but if no-one else responds the Waterfront was alright for meeting a mate and is within staggering distance of the station!

Another vote for waterfront, also the bar in the park hotel is quite nice if you want a civilised drink.

Saracens Head is a nice old pub with the bonus of great food as well.
