Cheers for the welcome Ian.

Only had the car for a couple of weeks and dont really want to take it out in too much bad weather.....LOL
Had a Supra RZ beforehand and the TVR feels as quick if not quicker. Been told I need to join two organizations now though...
1. The AA
2. The Samaritans..: (

Not sure about the second one....

Will have a look at the local site too.

Cheers

Welcome to our forum Martin!!
Another new face to see at out monthly pub meets in Bury!

By car detailing, do you basically do stone chip and stratch repairs? Whereabouts are you based? I've got a couple of bonnet dents which cant be sucked out, so need to be pulled. I've also got some laquer peelings and a minor rust spot on the o/s front arch. Is this typically work you can do?

Hope you enjoy the forum and indeed the site!

Just as I published that last post I only then decided to check out your website and saw what you do! (must learn to not to open my mouth until I know all the facts! )

Also multimap'ed your postcode and I'm pretty sure where you are. How long would you need the car for, say, your £80 valet? Also, would you be able to do my car even with the laquer peel?

Thanks,

Darren

Hello Martin,

Welcome to PistonHeads!

So you've got a Tuscan now? what colour did you get? what made you go for a TVR? hows the first 4 (ish?) weeks of ownership been? any problems so far?

Just be careful when your out n about around this time of the year, the Tuscan doesn't like the roads too much!

btw. i highly recommend these guys, they valeted my car (you can see how good a job they did from the pic in my profile)

Haydn,

How you doing. We havent heard from you for a while. Yea, finally sold the Supra and the Ninja bike and got a 2000 X plate Tuscan in yellow....yours sold me on one....
Not been out in it much due to the roads but when I have its awesome. Seems quicker than the Supra. Can't wait to see what she'll do in the dry.
How about you..still got yours?

Keep in touch.

Welcome to PH! I remember seeing a black truck driving around with your logo on the side - always looked particularly shiny too! I always intended to get my t350 done, but didn't get round to it before leaving the area....

Your yellow Tuscon....does it have dark coloured wheels? Your werent out in the Norwich snow a couple of weeks ago?
Saw some hardy soul out in the snow in his/her Tuscon then on the Heartsease roundabout!

The black shiney beast is our F150 Harley Davidson truck. We run this along with the Merc Vito van. The Harley truck brings the bling when we do the Hotrod show circuit in the summer. Takes a bit of time to polish but its worth it.

My Tuscan did have black wheels apparently, but the dealer I bought it from had them redone in silver before I bought it... I think it would look quite good with black rims...maybe get them changed soon.....

My old 136bhp Merc used to be fun in the snow and the 220bhp Merc (with no traction control) is hilarious entertainment. What I wouldn't give for 375bhp of supercharged American muscle and an empty, icey car park

ohh just read the owners manual and it states the following;

" Motor Vehicle Bureau forbids the owner to allow a second party to partake in any form of enjoyment other than from the safety of the passenger seat. Any attempts to divert from this will cancel any form of fun warranty given "

Sorry, but there you go. I would if I could but I can't sorry LOL

I wish! LOL!
I'll just take one of those engines, please! I'm sure it'll fit in the E320's engine bay

Still, I had a little fun last night in a Tesco's car park
Gotta love this weather!
