Bomb at Castle Mall

Heard something this afternoon about a bomb at the Castle Mall does anyone know anything.

I just missed it, i was walking through Norwich after parking in the mall and heard loads of Sirens, walked back and it was cordoned off. I thought maybe someone had been run over as there didn't seem to be anything. I literally walked by seconds before.

So was there actually a bomb?

A suspicious package, apparently. Or in other words some freak without a basic understanding of probability or reality decided they saw something that could only be explained by being a bomb.

Havent seen an 'its the end of the world, terrorists are gonna eat us alive' headline in the EDP yet so it cant have been too serious! I think people are taking the whole terrorist threat a bit too seriously if they think shopping malls in Norwich are going to be targeted. Ive always found a relative amount of comfort in thinking that norwich is likely to be somewhere near the bottom of the terrorist threat list!
