The Helmingham Festival of Classic and Sports Cars is one of our premium Roadshow events. We've attended it en masse each year for the last few years and as anyone who's been will testify, this is THE event to see outstanding, rare and downright expensive cars. Furthermore there's also the chance to blast your own car down the famous gravel drive in front of a drooling public

Entries have to be made individually and there are two main options. Option 1 is to pay £20 and join the Concours ring, where you'll get a cream tea, reserved parking, a nice name board and entry into the judging.

Last year we tried the 'Club Stand' option but were disappointed both with cost and location, so this year the PHEA Roadshow will be taking Option 2 which offers free entry and free parking. However, to be parked together it means we'll have to arrive together - more on that later.

The event also offers (I quote): 'BBQ & HOG ROAST, BAR & REFRESHMENTS, live jazz and brass bands, birds of prey, main ring entertainment, craft & trade stalls, children’s entertainment, car club stands and free entry into Grade I Gardens'.

To enter you will need to get a PDF from me which you complete and post back to the Hall. You can join the pack with Option 2, or mix it with the aristocrats in Option 1. To book a place on the Driveway Thrash (sorry, Councours Run hehe ) please tick the box 'Concours'.

I can't enter for you, so please contact me with your e-mail address and I'll get the PDF out to you by return.

Any questions please let me know.

Cheers all thumbup

Today

NB Gravel Thrash places are limited so if you want to do that, best not delay.

Nice work Phil - I'd have circulated the info sooner but was waiting for further info and they weren't very quick off the mark.

What option did you choose?

Option 2 for me. A bit of smash of the fax machine in a bit and we'll be set.

Seeing as I attended NO shows in '06, I'll be rectifying that this year!

So put me down, for Option 2, please John....PHEA will just mob the main car park then? evil

I wouldn't mind doing the concours run, but something tells my car isn't quite loud enough ears hehe

Option 5 appears to be missing (the one with scantily clad dancing girls, serving nibbles, polishing my car and mopping my brow), so option 2 for me.

Yes I've already booked in for the cheap seats also, I guess that I might have had a little difficulty hanging onto the EAPH'ers convoy run, even tho my Rumpole Diddlesquat is much quicker than Mr Crusty my faithful Austin.
So see you there then.

P.S. don't forget your fiver's for the kids hospice fund soapbox

You do know that
John can't do this? You have to send the form off directly as you have to sign it. Just letting you know....
