Can anyone recommend a decent pub halfway between Norwich and Newmarket with a good car park for a meet? Maybe somewhere in the Thetford area just off the A11??

East Anglian Locostbuilders had a meeting at The Bull @ Barton Mills just off the A11.

Perhaps not half way, but it has a decent sized car park and was pleasant enough.

That one just off the A11 at Snetterton is pretty good.

there's a nice pub just off the A11 at Attleborough, though i can't for the life of me remember the name!

you turn off the A11 at the roundabout towards attleborough, passed the pub you can see on the junction, then up the road a few yards on the right ( near pete beales rose place)is a lovely old pub with a decent car park. i've been there a few times after being to racing at snetterton, good food, and good beer.

Larling Angel.

lots of carparking and decent pub food, eat in the bar and not the restaurant or the breakfast room. Unless of course your a huge fan of 80s decor and rediculously low ceilings.

Another vote for the Angel at Larling, I’ve eaten there a few times and its always been good and a cut above normal pub fodder, a decent pint as well.
