As the planned trip to Holkham is postponed until June 10th, and seeing as it's the last Sunday of the month, I thought we could drop into our regular watering hole, the Gardener's Arms at Tostock.

I rang to check if this would be OK and it is. What's more, they're having a Treasure Hunt and BBQ to raise money for a children's play area in the village. You don't have to join in but if you do, ths is the timetable:

12.00 noon: Treasure Hunt
3.00pm: BBQ in marquee

Entry for both parts (or just the BBQ) is £5 for adults, £3 for children. Or if you don't want to do either, the normal range of food will be available as well.

Stan the landlord would be much cheered if we can give him an idea of numbers, so please let me know (either below or by e-mail) if you want to come along. So you have three options:

Option A: is Treasure Hunt and BBQ.
Option B: Just BBQ (suits me as I hate treasure hunts!)
Option C: Normal meal inside

Cheers all!

Doesn't look like I will get on Sunday.

We currently have a hole in our dining room ceiling after a water leak on the shower in our en-suite. We have had plumbers in and out all day, but as they did all the bathrooms and heating when we built the house, and the fault is there's, no money will be leaving my wallet ! Still a bloody mess that I don't need though. ranting

Have a good one people.
