I am keen to go to this event so I thought I would at least view the website.
Within the website they do have a PDF of the application form that you can complete and send in if you wish to attend. I did this and received a very nice e-mail back informing me that I was not too late to apply, that they would consider my application and I would be advised if my application was accepted.

May be worth you guys applying via this route? scratchchin

keeps options open?

John !!! What,s going on, we haven't booked 'gazebo man' in ! Surely we can't risk this judging by recent events !

I've just tried to phone the organiser and plead for more space - but no answer. I'll keep trying - watch this space...

Kev, good research - what you may have there is an individual entry rather than a club entry. I'm surprised they're still taking bookings but if so, that bodes well. If we can't get the PHEA space enlarged from 15, then individual entries will be better than nothing - you'll be elsewhere on the field, but you can at least come over and join the gang.

Entrance requirements for the PHEA stand are (1) gazebo (2) food (3) drink biggrin

I was going to try and sneak in with PHEA.
idea If its a nice day and we have the roofs off, should be able to get in and out of the cars without opening the doors, thus extra space for me to park with you eek

Thats assuming that I get in anywaywoohoo

It started as a wee joke, but it'll give me something to do, to look for a decent BBQ scratchchin

Drinks aren't my field though winkhehe

Normally that'd be fine, but Lavenham is space crtical - every car has a space and that's it. The problem (and thank you for revealing your plan beforehand!) is that if you turn up unannounced and take a space reserved for someone who has booked, then when that someone else turns up and can't get in, they'll be a bit miffed, as you can understand!

If you can get in as an individual entrant that would be OK, as it means there'd be a space *somewhere* for you (but not on the PHEA stand).

By contrast Helmingham and Rougham - and most other shows - have loads of room so space isn't an issue.

As long as the organisers don't mind (health & safety yada yada), that would be a great idea biggrin Darren is Head of Catering!

Yep, probably not a good idea to leave you in charge of drinks!
