Decent builder required

I'm debating whether to have an extension built - single storey, about 14 x 9 feet. However I don't know any suitable builders (Colchester/Ipswich area) to get a quote. Do we have any builders in our ranks, or can anyone make any recommendations please?

I would have thought a man of your obvious DIY abilities would have no trouble knocking up an extension

Ha, thankyou but my skills stop with wood - no idea about bricks and mortar. Anyway Tom mailed me with some suggestions so hopefully I'll get some estimates soon.

Reckon on around 1300 - 1500 pounds metre square all up and finished to give a very rough idea of cost. Altho this was a few years ago and I'm not sure how prices have moved, hopefully not much.
