Sounds good to me smile

The Victoria? Is that the one right by the entrance to Holkam Hall off the coast road?

Always fancied eating there. It looks a bit upmarket though!

Mike,

all sounds good. It may be worth you speaking to The Victoria nearer the time as I think they get very busy. Also, like Gary, I think they can be a bit pricy.

Pricy...........
You lot in your flash cars that do 15mpg laugh

A few of us stopped by one sunday, they had a BBQ going. You paid £8-£10 depending on what you wanted and the chips & side salad were self service. The food was very nice and well worth the £. I havent seen the bar menu though.
I'll have a look next time im round the coast, the other option is fish & chips at wells on the front if you want... very nice lick

UPDATE********
Just had a look at the sample bar menu on line &:
Deep fried haddock, tartare sauce and chips 8.75
I think the restaurant is a little bit pricyer (if thats a word), but the bar menu isnt over the top for a coastal pub.
