Green Cameras popping up?

Anyone else noticed a few new 'cameras' popping up. I noticed a few today and then tonight coming home though the city, at the top end of Ber Street near the bike shop, there is a tall green post with a small camera on it. Its similar to the Traffic Master ones but the camera is smaller. Seen a few of these sprouting up recently.

Also, those who use the Wymondham to Hethel Road, have you noticed the 'Speed Enforcement Cameras' sign. It has a cunning hole placed within the wording. The hole looks the right size for a camera lens to stick through. A puzzler for sure.

No they are a much smaller head to them and all painted green. If I remember I'll get a photo of one.
Could be a new CCTV system but I would think the camera is too small.

Aren't these part of the new National ANPR network (read Control-freak Big Brother Government is wasting huge piles of tax payers cash on another pet project in the name of National Security which will actually do bugger all)???

I thought that the green camera's were tax/anpr camera's for DVLA? The blue type which are of similar design are speed sensing/traffic flow as per Trafficmaster setup.
Would be nice to know if I'm wrong.

Also, does anyone know if the constant speed camera's between Jcn 28 to 27 on the M25 A/C are 'live'?

I've seen the green cameras in London and on the way back up to Norwich. They have similar ones in Switzerland and the are for checking if Lorries are taxed (according to people I have spoken to there) so i guess they are for tax purposes/tracking vehicles.

As for those M25 Av speed cameras; they ave been there for ages. I always forget about them when driving home and, touch wood, I have not had anything through. I thought that signs had to inform you if there are average speed cameras? I know for normal fixed cameras/radar there doesn't have to be signs present. Anyone know anything about average speed camera signs. Do they have to be in place for you to receive a summons?

I thought Norwich wanted to go with the Congestion Charge. Have you managed to find any pictures yet?
Anyhow these TAX cameras what is the point? IF the bloke driving does not have any TAX you can rest assured that they do not have an MOT or current insurance and you can bet that they have not changed to DVLA details to their current home address.....Another waste of time/money
