Hi to all you EA PistonHeads.

I have just moved to Wymondham (Norfolk) from Surbiton (South West London) having just got married. Being a country boy originally I am loving the new surroundings and roads.

I very much intend to get involved in meets etc so I'll keep an eye on the board.

Has anyone used Scuffs of East Dereham ( www.scuffs.biz )?

I need my alloys refurbing and they seem local, pro looking site, reasonable prices etc. Or can anyone please recommend someone else?

Thanks, M.

Welcome to PHEA thumbup

As for wheel refurbishment, try New Image in Norwich.

New Image Stone Chips Ltd
12, Garden St, Norwich, Norfolk NR1 1QU
Tel: 01603 665656

They charge around £60+VAT for a powder coat refurb, and about £120+VAT for diamond cut edge refurbisment. Those prices are "per wheel" smile

Hi M,

Im in Wymondham and it seems to be a catch net for those coming up from London....LOL (SE London here).
You'll find it a good place not too great at Xmas lights tho...wink

For wheels, New Image are the best in Norwich although if you dont use the car regularly, there are better places that collect and return outside the area.

Hello M smile You just missed the Turkeyfest, but you can keep up with what we do here and also at www.phea.co.uk. Unlike most PH forums we actually get together and do things. Ian V and myself coordinate most of the events and we keep a mailing list to contact people directly when something's coming up. So if you'd like to bung you addy to one of us we'll add you on.

Look forward to meeting you when it's a bit warmer!

Depends on what you fancy.....The Thai is very good down the bottom of the 'High Street' and round the right hand bend.
Cross Keys PH...very good pub food.
Three Boars at Spooner Row (just down A11) Excellent pub food.
The Mulberry Tree in Attleborough very good for up market kinda food.

Well there's a selection for most tastes...LOL...there is a good Chinese next to The Mulberry Tree in Attleborough which does all you can eat buffet which is top nosh.

re Wilderbeast arms

If you want a pint of Adnams it might be best to ring ahead, I don't think the barmaid had much practice as it took about ten minutes and ended up with the top half as froth.

Hello by the way. I've probably missed it but what's your chariot?

Ahhah, it's funny you should say that as I've heard a few negative things about their service. Always been top notch when I've been though

Thanks again folks, great tips.

We live about 10 yards from the Thai. We were hoping it was nice.
Having my works christmas do at the Three Boars so that's a good start.

I am currently wielding a RS clio 182. Love it to bits. biggrin

I moved from Wymondham to Diss just over a year ago. The Three Boars is superb. Cross Keys is a bit of a hole though, but never tried thier food.

Enjoy the B1135 "Lotus Road" as well, I used to love caning my old E30 M3 down there.

Cross Keys has changed recently. The owner is the guy who used to run The Bird in Hand at Wreningham until he split from his wife.
So should be good grub if The Bird in Hand is anything to go by. wink

Ltus road is great especially getting 'air' just past the Lotus turning...Potash Lane..)

Agreed on all counts! BiH is very good - lots of Lotus memorabilia around the place.

My 993 used to bottom out after that hump when pressing on, sparks-a-plenty!
