Independant VW garage in Norfolk/North Suffolk

Does anyone know of a good indi VW garage in Norfolk/North Suffolk area? Ideally in or around Norwich.

My Golf needs new rear axle bushes and rear bump stops, but I've been quoted £396.30 and 2x£103.67 respectively by Robinsons VW to do the work. I don't really want to pay main dealer prices for that kind of job!

There is one in Thetford called David Goddard, I was always reccommended him by a freind but never used him myself as he was too far out the way for me. His number is 01842 752233.

Is Mr beetle still there on magdalen road? I alwasy used to use him on my golfs. But for that sort of job why go to a VW garage any decent one will do.

you could try the skoda dealers in Attleborough,(chequered flag) they are very cheap compared to most of the other local VAG group dealers and the service is first rate.

these guys are brilliant. On the a146 bout 6 miles out of norwich. we've had 5 vw's and they all went there for all the work.

I agree, but don't be put off by the 'van' label. They specialise in VW work on cars & vans as some of the guys were fully VW trained. I live about 2 miles away and have known the two partners, Gerry & Paul over 10 years. They are very helpful and can sort out just about anything.

Good place to buy a used van too!
