Had the scaffold taken down just before Christmas...only just!

Still a bit of work to do around the window but, I can get to that off my tower scaffold.
I have done nearly all the work myself apart from hiring a carpenter for 2 days to help me frame the roof and of course a plasterer to pebble dash the outside.

Also, just a little bit more to do inside!

Brave man Gary!

I like the cross-member that's guaranteed to brain anyone over 6 foot who tries to open the window in the dark!

Looking good, Gary!

It compliments the house so well.
What's the time scale for completion? smile

Thanks John, Darren.

I'm waiting for a structural engineer to get back to me with calculations as to what supports I need to make, so I can remove the old rafters.

Hopefully it will all be finished by Spring (depending on how much time I can get off work!!)

Well done Gary - a lot of work accomplished there. Trust that it will be finished by Spring too, so that it doesn't interrupt enjoyment of the next Marham Track Day weekend.

By the way what is it for? Anything useful like a garage or workshop extension?.........

It's only to double the size of the third bedroom, with the option (should we sell), to make a fourth at very little cost.

btw,I don't think anything will interfere with the next track day! smile
