Garage Break In....Grrr!

Just found out my garage has been broken into and my mountain bike is gone. They left my wife's mountain bike, and my old one, but took my £1000 bike even though it had a good lock on it.
One of my mates lives quite nearby, and his expensive bike has been taken from his garage too. Seems quite a few garages were done in the roads near us.
Garage was in a block, so not overlooked by any houses, and they cut/grinded through the staple and hasp style lock - the padlock is intact.
I'm fuming, really annoyed that someone else has got my bike.
