refurb of split rims any one in ipswich area
Discussion
I don't know of anyone in the area who will do split rims. Diamond Styling in Sidcup do a good job for ££££
DIY is a an option
What car and design are these wheels ?
I would not suggest Lacquer - it is a PITA and WILL fall off
I can provide a source for new zinc plated or even better SS bolts (what size are they?)
The rim damage could be sent off to be repaired (quite cheap)

Are S/S bolts suitable for split rims? Risk of fatigue and all that metalurgy tye stuff. I've got a set of old skool JDM split rims that need new bolts, cost is looking prohibitive though for 80 of the beggars. Stupid size as well, 3/8" IIRC.DIY is a an option

Providing the bolts are made of the right grade of SS there is no problem. They are nearly as strong (tensile) as conventional bolts and the actual load per bolt is relatively smallCheers,

Cost can be an issue some were going on ebay for £2.50 each

I got mine for around a £1 each
