Dear all, anyone able to tell me the name of the Tapas bar/resturant just outside of Newmarket?

Is it the Blackbird, or have I made that up?

Yep- definitely Red Lion at Kirtling.

But there is also the Star at Lidgate (c. 5 miles from N'mkt)- run by a Spanish lady and definitely Spanish feel to the menu- although not strictly 'Tapas'. Pricey- but well worth a visit even if just for a drink- has won numerous awards including Daily Telegraph pub of the year umpteen times.

3 Blackbirds @ Woodditton probably- next village to Kirtling.
