This year I will buy a TVR. Been looking at loads of posta and advice here, and thankyou to all. Theres a great amout of help here.
What I would like to do is go to a meeting and see what I am getting in to, both the cars and the culture.
I live in Peterborough. Could anyone let me kow where the nearest TVR owners group meets, and when?
Thanks in advance....
Peter smile

wavey Welcome to PH and the local division!

PHEA attend various events and a few convoy runs throughout the year, not to mention the monthly pub meet.
We previously met at the Flying Fortress near Bury St Edmunds, moving to the Gardener's Arms in Tostock. January will be our first visit to a new venue - the Matcalfe Arms - in Hawstead, just south of Bury St. Edmunds.
Details are HERE

PHEA is pretty much run and organised by Simpo_Two and IanV.
Check out www.phea.co.uk to see what we got up to throughout 2007 smile
Basically, we're a friendly bunch, who like a laugh, beer, cars and chatting about things car related or not!
In the 2 1/2 years+ I've been a PHer, I've met so many people in PHEA, who I now consider good friends.
So yeah, come along and introduce yourself biggrin

Peter, welcome aboard. I think Darren has given you most of the info above regarding our little group.

This Sunday (27th) we are meeting at 12.30pm for Sunday lunch and a natter at The Metcalfe Arms, Hawstead. All details and a map can be found in 'sticky' thread at the top of this page. We usually have a good few TVR's in our ranks so it may be useful to you.

Good luck with the TVR hunting.

^^^ what he said!

It'll be good to have another TVR; we're getting a bit swamped by Chevys as of late! By all means come along to the meet this Sunday and say hello; you'll also get the chance to look round my Griff (rain permitting!) and any other TVRs there.

I'm not dressing up like a trawlerman for anyone.

Well possibly for one of Darren's fancy dress parties, but that's all.

If there's any better costume out there, it remains to be discovered! hehe

Hi Guys,
Thanks for the huge response. Unfortunatley, I am busy on Sunday (27th), but will get down to see you as soon as I can.
Cheers,
Peter.
