Driving to Leicester early tomorrow morning to p/x the Grand Voyager for a 55 plate Discovery3.......Just looked outside and its snowing....what an opportune time to be purchasing a 4x4.....thumbup


Chances of the A14 being impassable to anything except 4x4's on the way back....irked

The problem is if the road gets blocked by cars and lorries.

When we had all the snow a few years back and the A14 came to a standstill, I was stuck with my boss in his Range Rover. We couldn't go anywhere because the road was blocked by abandoned cars and stuck lorries.

Sorry, mate!

On the up side, the snow has fallen now, so there's less chance of cars being caught out by it/in it. Last time, it fell approaching rushhour on a mid-weekday!

Jonathan, no worries mate just bustin ya balls....

Should be okay. There isnt much snow forecast for this neck of the woods apparently so I should be ok....



Thats Quad looks like fun...There is a guy around Wymondham who rides/drives one and it looks great fun...It wheelies well too wink

Whats even better is you can switch it from RWD to 4WD on the fly, so you can drift it through a corner and click it into 4WD thereby saving what would have been an oversteery death hehe
