Any recommendations - looking for a Company that can undertake high quality repair work to a carbon fibre fuel tank. Thanks.

Thats great, thanks for info. Its my Sons racing bike fuel tank thats developed a 'weep' in one of the seams. Great start to the season eh!

He was going with Colchester Kawasaki 'Hawk' but in the end could'nt quite agree with the terms, they are watching him this season with a view to them both getting together again for 2009 season.

Took the tank into Reveri for the repair work, cut out damaged area and bond in new in two areas. Repair small area of damage to vent hole area and check all seams. Be ready next week and sounds reasonable value at around 150 pounds. Steering damper bracket snapped during a trackday session at Snetterton, not the sort of thing you might expect! Ordered a new one and the supplier has let us down on promised delivery, so test day at Mallory tomorrow and the supplier faithfully promises he will meet us there with the part as thier depot is just down the road to the track. Still at least these things are going wrong during testing which is why its done I suppose scratchchin

Now have the petrol tank back from Reveri and a fine job they have made after a nightmare of a job for them to get right. Apparently when the tank was made a sheet of kevlar was taken right down to the seam of the tank, this had the effect of the seam 'adhesive' being destroyed by the petrol which perculated down through the kevlar! Anyhow all done now and I can recommend this Company for excellent work and helpfulness.
Whilst there I had a look at their racing Elise, as you can imagine it was stuffed to the gills with carbon fibre goodies, seat, wing, steering wheel, gearshifter and so on. Lovely lick

Racing Technology Norfolk (RTN) at Hingham might be worth a try next time.

I think I will have a titanium ring or something unusual. Certainly hoping to anyway (hint hint Scott).
