Hi Patrick,

A client of ours has just bought a GT. Unfortunately, he picked up a puncture after hitting a piece of wood on the M6. It has punctured the O/S rear tire and scuffed the rim.

He has a bigger problem as the car comes with no jack and he cant jack it up using his trolley jack. I mentioned driving onto a couple of planks to lift it up but he doesnt want to move the car on the flat to save damaging the rim further.

Have you got one of those hitech flat car jacks?

Also any clues as to where to get hold of a replacement tyre?

Many thanks

Kev

I cant see how he cannot jack the car without rolling it onto a couple op peices of wood to lift it so that the trolley jack can go under? He could inflate the tyre with a tyre sealent which he should already have in his hood, and then move the care without damage to the rim.

He needs to get the jacking adaptor's that sit on the jack then slot into the jacking poits, dont think these can be replaced with a piece of wood as this can buckle the ali undertray, some guys have buckled this in the states trying all sorts of methods>

He can order these direct from the states
