Just been down to Grunty Fen Tip to take some rubbish, doing my good deed for the day. Got home and have noticed a long scratch down side of the rear door on the ZT. Remember seeing a guy carrying several long flouresent tubes walking accross the car park with one falling out of its box, it must have been him as he would have had to walk past my car to get to the skip.
I am censored furious, I had parked it away from everyone else, or so i thought. It was definately not there before i left to go there.
Looks like i will be calling Anatol to come and have a look to see if he can work his magic on it.
It just really f***s me off when these scumbags couldn`t give a toss about other peoples pride and joy.

Full sympathy furious Know what you mean about trying to park away from the slob's. I have gone out into country miles from any where, parked the car between rock partially hidden. Come back and surrounded by people carriers all with baby seats.

Sorry to hear that Nigel. Perhaps you specifically need a car for car parks and public places scratchchin (or a gun).My Pugs had a few dings since I've owned it and although it's irritating it's doesn't cause me big stress.

"Grunty Fen Tip". I like that. Such fine fellows.

Went through Soham on the way to Prick Willow yesterday. Not in the Cerb though :-( I need to go on a TIV hoon soon as I've not done one since I've had it so I'll keep my eyes open on here.

Hi Colin, good to hear from you.
I know these things shouldn`t wind you up, but furious could sum up my current mood. Just as well I didn`t see it happen punch or may have had some different type of scratches on different type of bodywork!
There are a couple of TiV events comming up shortly. The TVR Challange is on 12th April at Cadwell Park, the Chatsworth House meeting is on 27th April and the TVR challange is on 4th May at Snetterton. So, hopefully with some better weather will see some runs out.

This is the reason I never go out of my way to use the car for 'trivialities'

Damage to car £100 - benefit of visiting refuge area - £0 , just do what I learnt the hard way , keep the rubbish and hire a skip or van to clear it all in one go

Hi Nige - No I would be extremely wound up too. Thanks for the dates - I can do April 12th ! but the others I'm working sadly. Is there a group meetup plan for that ? Is it tickets on the door ? Are you and Sue going ? So many questions. smile Hope that scratch gets sorted.

I'm very sorry to hear about this, Nigel, especially as I'd like first refusal if you ever want to sell (and still do!)

Flogging may currently be out of vogue for these scum, so may I suggest an hour or two of electro-convulsive 'therapy'? Failing that, red-hot pokers have historically proved effective.
