After mine broke at RAF Marham on Sunday morning - I desperately need a new one ASAP, today or tomorrow.
I'm having a right pain trying to find one of these - Ebay sellers keep coming up with nothing. Does anyone know of anywhere in East Anglia that might have one? I specifically want a Bosch 0580 254 941.

Not in East Anglia, but they do appear to have one in stock and looks like you can buy over the internet?

May be worth following up on if you get stuck?

Thanks Kev, I contacted those guys yesterday & still waiting for them to reply.

Thankfully, another forum I frequent has come to my rescue - www.bigpower.co.uk and one of their forum members - Fast Eddy has sold me exactly what I needed at an EXCELLENT price. Fingers crossed that it arrives in time, I think it will. http://www.fast-eddys.biz/

I'm actually waiting for the same fuel pump to arrive from an Ebay seller - Matt Lewis Racing from Leatherhead that he shipped on 17th April - that still has not arrived, despite being a next day service & assurances that "it's out for delivery today". It's being delivered by DHL who have passed it to "Home Delivery Network" - GRRR. They say that have the paperwork for the packet but no actual packet to deliver.

That's what you get for trying to save a few quid. frown

For pumps fuelsystem.co.uk are as good as anywhere, the problem with Matt (Lewis Racing) is that he doesn't hold all of his parts in stock so you need to check with him first on availability. I regularly use him for stuff but not for super-urgent things.

No problem with Matt as a person/business - just the DHL courier service, it is abysmal. Matt shipped the fuel pump very quickly, it must just be on the back of a pigeon getting here.

Have you got your car sorted Chris? I went past your house yesterday on the way to sack my accountant.

Thanks Martin, I'd forgotten that you had one, I'm so thick sometimes. I'm in possession of the one from Matt Lewis Racing that arrived this afternoon & I have another one coming tomorrow from Eddy from Big Power. £200 spent on fuel pumps! One of them will be going on Ebay I reckon to recoup some money.

Also found out that Scott had mounted it incorrectly too - hence why it broke, it was meant to be horizontally instead of vertically so high speed cornering was messing it up. So they tell me.

Ringing around various suppliers, the prices I was quoted were wildly different for the same part number, varying from £75.00 to £165.00. I'm going to go into business selling Sierra Cosworth fuel pumps. One chap from Ebay said "no that won't do the job, you need one of these, suitable for fuelling 600bhp & race use" "yeah great, how much" "£350" "er no thanks".

Yep, my car is all sorted now. I thought I saw you going northbound on the A10 this morning but I guess that it wasn't you afterall. The tintop on the other hand is on it's third week in the garage and if they don't fix it tomorrow I fear that I'll be in the market for a replacement, not that I have the time nor the inclination to look at present. Still whilst the weather is good and the westie is working I find myself taking the scenic routes wherever possible.

As to accountants email me with who you've sacked as we're about to start using in Cambridge someone who comes highly recommended, the initial meetings went well but we've yet to get them doing the accounts properly.
