Not heard yet. Having just about caught up last week after getting back from an outstanding week away at Le Mans, I'll ask the question next week. Last date bandied around was late August to avoid other commitments. At least we can guarantee rain if it's the Bank Holiday weekend....

None yet - I'm down at High Wycombe now, so emailed George and Nick earlier this week, but have had no reply as yet.

I'm afraid that we have a very very busy year this year and the airfield is almost constantly in use so the next track day is likely to be in October. But we have held them in October before and the weather was fine (MG Mark will be able to back me up on that). Piston heads will, of course, get plenty of spaces (more than enough) so don't worry and I look forward to seeing you all on track at the end of our Indian summer.

Thanks all for your continued interest

Thanks Gary, but it's a total split I'm afraid. I think he'd had enough of fixing the Cobra. hehe
No, we're still good friends but there'll not be a PH wedding sadly.

Must be something in the East Anglian air at the moment Magpie, you're not alone in the "we're splitting up" scenario. . . .

Marham in October would be good for me to as something to look forward too . . .

Could you try and not spin in front of me at the end of the straight this time though hehe

I will certainly TRY not to spin in front of you. I never know what's going on with the Cobra - it just does what it wants. Sorry about that last year! Gave me & my passenger a fright & I've never taken the corner that fast since! I think I saw the whites of your eyes. Catching 2nd instead of 4th at 90mph has never been so terrifying.

Hope to see you there in October.

Agree with something in the air scenario, there's people splitting all over the place. If you hear of, either a single mechanic, vet or plumber, I'd be very interested. paperbag

Just heard from Nick Howard that announcment of a date is immminent, so we will hopefully hear within the next few days to be able to ink it inot our diaries. As to October, the weather is a bit more chancy, but as George mentioned, the couple that we have held in late Sep/Oct have been blessed with sunny weather, with an occasional shower to liven things up. Hopefully we will have more of the same this year.

Hannah - v. sorry to hear about you and Scott; if you remain friends that is, however, a good thing when set aginst the alternative of acrimony. Best wishes to you both.

A wet Marham wouldn't concern me too much at all, would kep down the stone chips, the tarmac is hugely grippy anyway and I'm sure it drains well .. . So all in all it would make for a great day of learning to drive fast and smooth in the wet . .

NM - No need to apologise at all, it was a very elegant spin 9:10, only shprt of 10:10 cos you didn't make 360 hehe

Well, I'm a plumber!!
Oh, hang on, I'm not single though.....and my daughter is about your age!!

As much as I like Scott, I think he must be mad passing up the chance to marry you smile

Getting back to Marham. It's a great atmosphere on the their track days and what I particularly like about it, is all the money goes to some really worthwhile causes thumbup
George, how much money did you make at the last event and which charities benefited from it?

The rain is a good chance for some enormous power slides without shredding your tyres... biggrin

I received my disc in the post this morning - there's some GREAT shots of the Cobra and even one of the "track Smart". Very pleased & the pictures are easily the best yet.

oh yes, lots of rain for me too !

that makes it all the more worth the 700-mile round trip for.
