;) I lasted a bit longer than last time (PH meet), nothing broke, although the clutch is about to fail. Good fun but it wasn't very sociable. Got some great end out action & someone took a pic of the Cobra with (small) flames out of the exhaust - got to find that pic!

Nice to hear you've had fun at Snett.

I'm stuck at a conference in Kidderminster. Still will be leaving soon, the weather's good, so I'm heading home across country along some of my favourite roads.

I'm from near Kidderminster! Figures that you were at a conference, no one goes there by choice laugh
Is there a better drive back than M5-M6-A14? Getting fed up of that road, but at least it's quick (most of the time).

A45 to Northampton, then cross country via Kimbolton to St Neots & on to Cambridge.

Better than the A14.

Did you get to see the LITE F3 team testing thier new car? If so what are your impressions of the car.

Yes F3 were there testing, they were doing laps at 1'01'm and sounded absolutely awesome. I got talking to the Junior Red Bull team who all seemed really happy, instead of grumbling about track times, tyre pressures...etc as the others were all doing.
The noise of the launch control was amazing but I'm afraid I didn't get any pictures.

On the way out at about 8pm there was an overturned BMW, might have been a convertible? It certainly ended up that way. paperbag at the entrance to Snetterton. Not entirely sure how it ended up that way in a 10mph limit but quite spectacular all the same.

Local news station said the F3 LITE Team are managed/ run by former Lotus people, so should be an really top notch car. And in true Lotus tradition its all on a shoestring (compared to the other F3 teams) 1.01 is quick, although I do not know what other classes of race car times are at present. I do know that BSB times are around 1.04 or so. Wish I had known F3 LITE were testing I'd have gone look.

Weird? Maybe it crashed on the circuit and the owner had it towed/dragged off the circuit so they could make a claim on the insurance? Just a thought? hehe

Glad to hear you had no breakages this time Hannah.

61 seconds is flying! Would have loved to have seen those!

Discovered I have got a pic of the overturned BMW on my camera. You can just about see it in the centre of the picture.
