Hi All,

I have known about PH for quite some time & although I use quite a few forums (yes, PC addict), I have always had the idea that it was exclusively for those with classics & supercars. How wrong was I (seems there's everything here from junkers like mine to Murcielago's :-) )

Anyway, thought as I'm on the borders of Norfolk, Cambs & Lincs, it makes sense to introduce meself in this forum. Quite interested in track days too, is there an old farts session for the "nearly 50's" :-)

Hello mate.

I am new as well and havent been on here long.

Marham is a great track to learn on, its big and wide and fairly long and there are cars of all different speeds.

YOu can drive round slowly to get used to the track and you wont really hold anyone up.

Put ya name down its a good laugh and addictive!

Hi John, and welcome to the mad house ! rotate

I guess I,m not too far from you from your discription, I,m over the border in South Lincs. There are a few of us about these parts, although our main East Anglia group tend to hail from further South.

We have a small group of locals that try and meet up on the evening of the first Tuesday of the month at The Woolpark at Terrington St John nr Wisbech. If you keep an eye out on here there's usually a thread about it before hand. You are more than welcome to pop along then for a natter and pint.

Our groups main monthly meets are held at The Metcalfe Arms, Hawstead nr Bury St Edmunds on the 4th Sunday of each month unless we are attending an event as a group. The next meet is on the 27th of this month (see the thread elsewhere on here).

Anyway, that's the meetings covered. There is a stickied thread at the top of the page with our groups events calendar for the year.

Just out of interest what car are you running as no mention in your profile ?

Thanks for the welcome guys, pretty quick response too !!

I'm more than up for the Marham day (or two) if the doors are still open :-)

Sorry there's not much in the profile yet, just joined quick as we do (impatient at my age, no time to waste :-) )

Woolpack meet sounds good, only about 15 miles from me & I have a petrolhead mate over at Wisbech to tag along if my other half doesn't want to talk cars all night.

Into Jap stuff meself, I have an early GTO & 'er indoors has a Delica (no I'm not running that on the track !). Even in me late 40's still a serious petrolhead & the "list" would be far to boring to keep anyones attention for too long.
