Just thought I'd drop a recommendation on here for Autofit Ipswich as they looked after me very well today. Had a slow puncture in my Lambo and took it to them as I'd used them before for my Audi and they seemed very good at the time.

They were so concerned about not damaging the car that I ended up calling the dealer to check where the jack point was (it isn't listed in the manual would you believe...the point is actually somewhere under the gearbox at the rear of the car). They have some gizmo tyre removing machines to avoid alloy damage when removing the tyre and they even asked me to check the torque settings with the dealer as well rather than just doing them up. Not to mention giving me a good price on a couple of replacements too - all round a very positive experience.

Am I right in thinking thats the one just outside the Blockbusters shop? Been there a couple of times (the garage not blockbusters) and was impressed with the quality of work they have done.

Yes that's the one - Britannia Road, just off Woodbridge Road.

I've been going there years and have always had good service from Dave with very good prices.

Those new tyre/wheel machines are about 12k each and very efficient at protecting the rim.

Ha Ha, your the chap my girlfriends been talking about then! All complimentary, you may have been persued by a buxom blonde in a Polo, she's a sucker for anything shiney and expensive but Raging Bulls in particular. Sorry, I think you got off lightly though, her usual tactic is to flash her jumper lumps in a hope that the distracted driver crashes.

I was wondering who it could have been, other than the TrucksRUs guys I wasnt aware of any Lambos in our neck of the woods.

Useless post distraction sorry.

Hehe I've not had that yet although I've heard of it elsewhere. Perhaps I should always carry a camera in the car...erm...for evidence purposes in the event of an accident of course ;-)
