Hey everyone,
Just moved to Cromer from London a couple of months ago. Forgotten how quiet the country is.... so, what can a Pistonheader look forward to in EA? Any recommendations of things to do most appreciated....
As there is apparently no work around at the moment i have a lot of free time so all suggestions welcome!
Also in need of a cheap old snotter if anyone has anything they want rid of. Missus and I moved here with one car (hers) meaning if she's out, its Cromer or nothing for me so need a motor pronto!
Thanks guys, hope to see you around!

Joe

Hi Joe, and welcome. Myself and 'simpo two' on here are the regional organisers for the East Anglia region. We hold a monthly meeting, usually on the forth Sunday of the month, at a pub near Bury St Edmunds. We are currently in the process of changing the venue (see other post at head of page).

We are also having an evening visit to Comtec early in December, again see the stickied post at the top of the page. I know spaces are still available if you are interested. During the Summer we attend several shows as a group to display our cars.

If any of this sounds of interest to you drop me an email via my profile and I will add you to our email list. That way you will recieve details of all events and meetings without having to keep a check on here.

Cheers

And I'm the PHEA hooligan/drunked/ginger wink
Welcome to Norfolk!

Things to do?
North Norfolk has some superb driving roads, and it should be pretty quiet this time of year. You've also got a wealth of pretty coastal villages to visit along the main coast road, as well as Sandringham House and Holkham Hall.
I would recommend a visit to Holt, and have a wander round the specialist shops (I'm not sure what will be open off-season). Butlers is a great fish restaurant in Holt, and Larners is great for some good food shopping!
South of Cromer is (of course) Norwich with many historical points of interest, as well as the major shopping & nightlife hub.
A bit further south in Banham Zoo,
There's also Snetterton - although it's largely quiet this time of year. And Great Yarmouth is on the eastern coast of Norfolk.

Plenty of things to do, and many miles to cover, I suspect winkhehe

Joe,

Make sure you make a date in your diary twice a year for the RAF Marham track day weekends! They're normally around April and late September or early October, and attract a great attendance from PHEA.
