driving roads in EA?

Whoa, I've never been this far down the forums page before...
Hi guys,
I've only been driving a few months but wondered whether any of you knew of any good roads locally? I'm in Ipswich if that's any help

Thetford forest is nice - long straights and scenic too. Hey Darren, what about a PH Picnic there next summer?!

My favourite road around here is the A1120 from Stowmarket to Yoxford.

The back road between Mistley and Dovercourt via Bradfield is fun too - as long as you don't stuck behind anything. Somebody I know had a great race with a bike there once

I bought my car in Harwich and that was the first road I drove it on. Needless to say I wasn't racing anything!

The Lotus road [B1135, I believe] gets a definite thumbs-up from me . I think I prefer it when heading East, as in, from Wymondham towards Bracon Ash.

the b1145 between kings lynn and bawdeswell,little traffic,no cameras and some good bends,i always use it instead of the A47.

Yup, that's another good one; I used that a lot when I lived in KL and had to get to Norwich on business.
