Took the body long vinyl martini decals off my 1984 911 to reveal a disaster. About 4 square inches of guards red paint in the middle of the bonnet decided the vinyl was more sticky than the silver primer underneath it. So, can anyone recommend a Suffolk based panel resprayer - I'm hoping they can blend in for this small area. Maybe also to do the years of stone chips on the nose. And any idea how much I need to save up / kick myself?

cheers

I used Steve Martin at Chips Away in Norfolk for my BMW (www.chipsaway.co.uk/websterandmartinltd/). He did such a good job that he is back with me on Wednesday and dealing with some rust spots on my Porsche 964. He is also going to give it the complete once over and deal with any other paint issues. The BMW cost me £95 for a patch of paint that came off when using the jet wash. The Porsche job has been quoted all in for £350 which includes some touch up jobs to my wife's car.

Steve is also doing some work for Tesla so he comes with some good references! Hope this helps.
