It's a great shame they've deleted Sear, Russell and the Revett Straight. All three names were synonymous with Snetterton and it's history.

Nice to see the new names, though, apart from "Montreal" - they should have left it as Sear !!! I suppose you have to move with the times !

Why is it they always seem to have throw away heritage and tradition in the process of these things. I appreciate new corners getting new names, but just re-shaping them slightly and throwing out the name seems wrong to me.

Although I can see Brundle as a local for some time, Hamilton ? Murrays ? Montreal ? Bentley ?

At least the names could have a connection to the area or the circuit which it relates too such as Brundle, Nelson, none of the rest seem too have a significant history associate to the Snetterton circuit, just a bunch of Hamilton fan boys voting. I see Palmer got his name in there hehe

When I first saw the Hamilton corner I thought this must have be named after Duncan Hamliton the Le Man winner. Ho hum

They have named a corner after Colin Chapman, although it's only on the 200 layout and I'd rather seen it named after Lotus myself as it has more meaning to everyone.

I was hoping to see Gerry Marshalls name somewhere there ..seems to me they have completely sold out to corporate pressure ..Bentley ?? Hamilton ??? are you quite sure !!
Gerry won his 600th race at Snetterton and is a true British Motor sport Legend and should be remembered accordingly.

OK, sorry, it was a bunch of Hamilton fan boys making suggestions, which I'm sure they won't have calculated in terms of repeats, so they won't have been considered like votes at all .... Never. Not at all.

Hi Chris, need to call you actually smile

I've been watching at Russells and the Esses for over 25yrs and my Dad since it went out along the A11 and the entrance was part of the track . . .. . Shocking names to come up with and it'll always remain as Russells to us as well.

Mr Palmer is trying to explain things. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm..........

However, having been to the first race meeting of the season today, the improvements - no matter what they're named - are excellent ......
