I moved to NZ from the UK six years ago, within that short time I've been involved with quite a number of alleged motoring infringements (not all of them mine!), and built up quite an extensive knowledge about the whole stealth tax system and how to fight back. I've spent many happy hours gleaning all sorts of useful advice at www.pepipoo.com and wondered if something along similar lines could be run for New Zealand conditions? I'm fighting an alleged speeding ticket and a parking ticket at present and know ways of forcing the system to spend a lot more in collecting the fine than the fine itself, and a possible way of not having to pay for speed camera tickets.
I doubt NZ has enough people prepared to stand up for their rights compared with the UK and pepipoo with a complete website devoted to such issues, but are there other Kiwis out there prepared to pool collective wisdom and perhaps use this forum as a start?

sounds like a good idea, but just before christmas probably isnt the best time to try and get things moving.

if you bump this post up to the top in mid/late january you might get a better response then.
