VW Corrado Advice wanted

Hi. I have saved some money and want to buy a VR6 as my late father had one when I was young

Can anyone advice me on what to look out for. Like bad things to check.

I have a mechanic friend who is my best friends boyfriend but I dont want to look stupid.

I had one about 15 years ago. Easily the least reliable car I ever had, with numerous electrical faults and culminating in a head gasket failure, probably caused by a radiator that was partly blocked.

Maybe it was a lemon. And it was 15 years ago.

When it went it was nice though. Lovely V6 engine, if a tad thirsty.

No not a lemon, Corrado was/is the worst car I ever had. I would never recommend one!

Odd reactions. I have just sold my storm model. Absolutely superb.

Runs well, great handling. Would thoroughly recommend it.
