Went over to Edenbridge yesterday and my sat nav took me down Popes Lane and some other equally narrow single track roads. Thats all well and good, but the car WAS pristine clean and now is caked with horse poo and mud and crap.

Interesting roads round there, and a beautiful area too, particularly Hurst Green. Thats the sort of hamlet I would like to retire to smile

Indeed - theres some lovely roads around that part of the world & we try to make the most of them every weekend.

If you get a free run you can really have some funbiggrin

Hi

I practically live in the country lanes for my job, and i love the roads around Hurst Green they are fantastic and unlike Kent are very quiet.

I also love the roads on Rommney Marsh and Barham through to Folkstone.
