Can anyone recommend a good day out ?
Discussion
Been planing a day out in London with my folks, wife, sister and brother-in-law in May but unfortunately that has been cancelled...but we all have the date free in our dairies so I am trying to think of other things we could do. Has anyone got any recommendations? Cost to a certain extent isn't really a problem (keep it sensible!!!)Has to be nr Kent/Berks/London area. Thanks

Depends on what you're after..
Kew Gardens makes for a nice day out. If you'd gone in February you could have seen the orchid display which is rather special.
Cliveden is also very nice and the maze is supposed to be good fun.
There's bugger all in the way of car related stuff in Bucks / Berks unless you fancy trying MB World. If you don't mind heading south, Beaulieu (Hants) is pretty decent and takes you through the New Forest.

thats my new sig!!Thanks all for the suggestions, done the whole Cliveden thing already which was quite impressive - it was worth going for the cars parked outside the house

I've thought of trying to hire a boat up the Thames with some catering thrown in, its quite reasonable, weather dependent though....that or a golf and spa package at goodwood!
