Hi All,
I've been meaning to pop a post up on here for a long time now but I've not had the chance until now.
As many of you know, I sold my beloved S2 last month but there is no way I would have experienced such a quick and painless sale if it wasn't for having the exterior of the old girl detailed by Waxwork Jock. The guy who bought the car was sold before I even took him on a test drive!
.
I always like to keep my cars in tip top shape but the car had picked up a little bit of hazzing on the body work which I wanted removing and it was in desperate need of having a clay bar run over it.
We did have some before and after photos to post up but thanks to some thieving piece of s
t breaking in to the house and nicking my computers, there's naff all chance of that.
. I do, however, have a link to the advert so as you can see how tidy it looked:

Fingers crossed I can find some of the images on Cat's camera...provided she hasn't wiped the memory.
If any of you fancy having your cars detailed, do it! If the car is prepped properly, it makes washing it such an easy task! Like a prat, I parked the S2 under a tree just before the buyer came to look at the car and it was caked in lime, blossom and bird droppings. I grabbed the hose, gave it a quick going over and dried it off only for it to look like new again!
I phoned to book the Chim in for spot of detailing with Waxwork Jock earlier in the week so as soon as I have it done I'll get some photos up on here.
A nice sweetner is that he is offering a 20% discount for all PHers which is valid from now until June 11th.

I would also like to add that not only is he a wizard at paint, seats, Tvr dash boards he is also a dab hand with fitting those little touches that that our pride and joys have to have. I had a pain in the arse little mark in my bonnet that never went even when washed and waxed. Until the Dr came round 10 mins later the bonnet feels like polished glass and the mark has gone for good. He used some cool stuff that smelt like bubble gum and is made from doodo's or something. Now I'm unsure is I should drive the car or lick it !
I will prob do both
Top work.
