Elise Dies, Bagshot - Bracknell Rd

I've just been passed by an ethusiastically driven Lotus Elise . Pulled into lane one to let him pass and he gave it the beans, quarter of a mile later he puts the hazards on and pulls into the side of the road , there's no hard shoulder or anywhere to park so I guess it was some kind of engine failure. I'd love to see a Turbo V8 Elise :-) Sounded like a trusty K series Rover engine to my 'unskilled ears'!

A US guy has 632bhp out if his Toyota engine! Quite nippy apparently!

nothing wrong with 'k' series rover engines .. just got a sub 6 sec 0-60 at Dunsfold out of my 1.6
