Anyone know any of abandoned buildings ...

...that I could use for a photo shoot? Small abandoned houses will do. Preferably around High Wycombe/Marlow/Maidenhead/Reading area.
I understand that generally you're not allowed in these buildings but I'd just like to check them out. I've looked on 28dayslater.com but that tends to be full of huge asylums etc - I'm looking for something much smaller than that.

I haven't done my garden all year so you are welcome to use that
Do they still have any of the old deserted army housing in the Aldershot area.
Although i do know of a very deserted crumbling pair of cottages, but you can't drive there you need to park and then walk a fair bit, and they may technically be on private property.

Theres the old printing factory just off of the Hughenden Valley road, the one that does the sharp turn.
There were concrete blocks there but I seem to remember a car in there a while ago.
Whatever you do, give me a shout, I'm very local and would be interested in any tips or tricks I could pick up!

Mike I'd be up for joining you too if you want some company. As you say 28DL tend to be about the big stuff, plus they seem to think it's extra brownie points if you manage to aggrevate a security guard or someone else in the process
Now I've left plod I don't have to worry about getting into trouble at work!

The old De La Rue site on Coates Lane, I believe it's supposed to be used as a cycle path through towards town. There were concrete blocks there but I seem to remember a car in there a while ago.

Had a quick look on the weekend and discovered a few houses but they tended to be completely boarded up, and I didn't want to break in!
I haven't had a chance to look at all the suggestions but the only one I've found so far which had a wide-open door was a little house next to the Crowne Plaza hotel in Marlow. You will see it from the long drive that leads up to the hotel.

Have you considered Imber in Salisbury plain?I haven't had a chance to look at all the suggestions but the only one I've found so far which had a wide-open door was a little house next to the Crowne Plaza hotel in Marlow. You will see it from the long drive that leads up to the hotel.
It has a selection of deserted houses and an old church. It does have a very eerie ambiance.

Don't think it's all disused, still a plastics factory thing operating down there. I bought a car off a guy who was working there and still see his car coming down the Dorking Road most days.Think there was some interest for development but nothing has come of it just yet. Mainly due to the approach going over the M25 maybe not being to everyone's taste...
