Is that the chap that lives next to the station in Bagshot? If so i was admiring his GTV the other day.

No, these are the guys in Maidenhead. They do have some nice GTV's though smile

Glad to hear your new ride is OK now Gus and hopefully I can take a closer look in a couple of weeks!

As pointed out by Mr Waugh-terfall in another thread there is a hoon that needs to be organised here. biggrin

2 points:

1) My lack of technical ability combined with my cheap sat-nav renders me unable to .itn things. paperbag

2) My new car combined with my vague directional sense, general idiocy and my slightly erratic driving ability means i probably shouldn't be at the front anyway. biggrin

So i figure a variation of the classic but instead of turning left towards Blackbush at the end, we turn right down the A327 towards reading, hop across to Winnersh, then down towards the new estate and road into the back of the Western Industrial estate.

If anybody wants to take charge of the lead/sat-nav i reckon we might be able to get away with what would be a nice little warm up to the SS. driving

You might be faster, but i have given us a plan!

Git! smile

hehe

I've got Tyre, I should have time to draw up some .itn files or whatever people need on Friday afternoon. I have no clue of the route though, if anyone has any ideas, PM me a route on Google Maps and I'll sort it from there.

I'm happy to practice a bit further on my own. Surprising how much more tail happy a FWD focus is than a scooby with slightly shot rear suspension. Very nearly caught me out on the meadows roundabout over the weekend but was much easier to catch than the MR2 would have been in that situation. Lots of fun ahead i think.
