I hear that Tesco are now looking to pull out of this, anyone else hard anything similar or is it just an unfounded rumour. Certainly doesn't appear to be anything happening.

I had a read about this on a Urban Exploration website, wouldnt mind looking around this site....

As far as I know Tescos pulled out a couple of years ago, they are building a depot in Andover. It really doesn't look like they are building anything or even clearing the site.

Was never going to happen it's a smoke screen, to keep people's mind off the fact that farnborough will be the next heathrow airport .as has been earmarked for some time. just not officially talked about or even acknowledged by anybody.but it will only be a matter of time as no other options make as much sense like farnborough international airport does.

I have to reply to farnborough international, Farnborough will become the business aviation capital of Europe. It's getting there already, it won't be taking the bucket and spade brigade to Spain. Yes you can get on a jet there and go to Japan or the states right now, if you have the cash. Japan about 80k at the moment I believe. It's always been about business aviation. It's the growing sector. IMO

I believe the mega depot is all still going ahead (dont know which companies though), some junior mp approved it all and pretty much laughed the local councils and SPLAT out of the building. They just see the number of jobs it creates and sign it!

That was the news quite some time ago but there no evidence of anything actually happening.
